Ursula (played by Evandia Penix) was a technically hard costume to make.  I went a non-traditional route with Ursula and wanted to make her dress tight to show her curves and the tentacles coming out at the knee.  I draped the dress and patterned the tentacles by hand.  I created a hoop skirt that was attached to the corset and I attached the tentacles to the hoop skirt.  The tentacles came out of the dress seams that I clean finished open.  The pictures below are of the draping, mockup, corset base, tentacles, the final result and Ursula and me.
